Allison Dring

is a co-director of Elegant Embellishments Ltd. since its foundation in 2008.
Allison has an interdisciplinary background ranging from large-scaled architectural projects to design research and production. She is particularly interested in urban narratives and the potential of design fictions to meet developing technologies at an architectural scale. She has worked with various firms in London including Urban Salon Architects, Pentagram, Softroom, and Block. She has taught, been a juror, and given critiques at the Bartlett School of Architecture, the Royal College of Art, Cardiff University, London Metropolitan University, and Istituto Marangoni.

Allison has a Masters in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Arizona.


Daniel Schwaag

is a co-director of Elegant Embellishments Ltd. since its foundation in 2008.
Daniel has an extensive background in computer-generated design and formfinding. At Arups Associates, he designed and developed several new installations using mathematical theorems, resulting in innovative structures that expressed the methods by which they were designed. He has worked with various firms in London including Urban Salon Architects, Glas, and Arups Associates, and has taught, given workshops, and been a guest critic at the Architecture Association, London Metropolitan University, Cambridge, and Cardiff University. He is currently an editor for the online magazine SLAB.
Daniel has a MSc in Urban Design and a Diploma of Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Virginia
